COMAsystem is based and built on a good idea

History – It was a hassle to save money …

The idea for COMAsystem stemmed from the increased focus on cost optimization after the financial crisis and the years after, which previously was the company’s main focus.

We often found that our customers spent a long time finding the right papers when we had to negotiate and optimize their purchasing agreements.

Unfortunately, it turned out time after time, that companies were often unable to find the contract documents that are the basis for all conceivable deliveries and thus, of course, the company’s costs.

From there, the idea arose to develop an online contract management system ensuring that our customers would not have to spend time looking for the right documents. Thus, the Costcutter Company, as we were once called, became COMAsystem.

COMAsystem today

Today, COMAsystem is the longest existing contract management system on the Danish market and we in COMAsystem has gained many years of experience in best practices and the endless possibilities in modern contract management.

We handle thousands of purchasing, sales, service and staff contracts every single day and we have customers in different industries and with different sizes and nationalities.

Security of business-critical data and customers’ personal data has been crucial to how we have developped the system. We take responsibility as a data processor for our customers and annually prepare an ISAE 3000 with our audit partner BDO.

Streamlining procedures and resources has always been very important to us.

The basic preconditions in connection with the negotiation of new procurement agreements are quite obvious, ie that we have the right basis for negotiation, such as the original contract with any vouchers and e-mail correspondence. That foundation was definitely not present in many companies 10 years ago when the idea of an online contract management system was born. It is thought-provoking that 10 years later we have not seen drastic improvement in the companies’ approach to contract management.”
